Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Maggneto's mobile app and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Maggneto ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Maggneto is a tool for digitizing, storing, organizing, and sharing aircraft maintenance records. It helps you keep your records in one place and surfaces the timing of maintenance items (for example, whether an item appears up to date, due, or overdue based on the data you enter).

2. Eligibility & Accounts

The Service is intended for aircraft owners and aviation professionals. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use it. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the aircraft details, maintenance records, meter readings, photos, and other content you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you authorize. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for ensuring you have the right to upload it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
• Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Share access with people you are not authorized to grant access to.

5. No Airworthiness or Compliance Determination

Maggneto is a recordkeeping and organization tool. It reports the timing of maintenance items based on the data you enter — it does not determine the airworthiness of an aircraft, certify regulatory compliance, or replace the judgment of a certificated mechanic, repair station, or the operator. Status indicators (such as "due" or "overdue") are informational only and depend entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the data entered. You remain solely responsible for all airworthiness, maintenance, and regulatory compliance decisions, and for complying with all applicable aviation regulations.

6. Plans & Payments

The Service offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through our website. Fees, features, and limits for each plan are described at the point of purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — on the website from Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account, or in the mobile app from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Deleting your account permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information it surfaces is complete or accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maggneto and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, aircraft downtime, or costs arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
